Eleonore Stump is the Robert J. Henle Professor of Philosophy at Saint Louis University, where she has taught since 1992. She has published extensively in philosophy of religion, contemporary metaphysics, and medieval philosophy. Her books include her major study Aquinas (Routledge, 2003) and her extensive treatment of the problem of evil, Wandering in Darkness: Narrative and the Problem of Suffering (Oxford, 2010). She has given the Gifford Lectures (Aberdeen, 2003), the Wilde lectures (Oxford, 2006), and the Stewart lectures (Princeton, 2009). She is past president of the Society of Christian Philosophers, the American Catholic Philosophical Association, and the American Philosophical Association, Central Division; and she is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. She is currently serving as the President for the Philosophers of Jesuit Education.

N.T. Wright s a Professor with the Logos Institute as well as Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St Andrews. He is a leading scholar of the New Testament and the former Bishop of Durham. His publications include the landmark Christian Origins and the Question of God series (consisting of The New Testament and the People of God (Fortress, 1992), Jesus and the Victory of God (Fortress, 1996), The Resurrection and the Son of God (Fortress, 2003)), and Paul and the Faithfulness of God (Fortress, 2013). His latest books are Paul: A Biography (HarperOne, 2018) and History & Eschatology (Baylor University Press, 2019).

 

Richard Bauckham is Professor Emeritus at the University of St Andrews in the school of divinity and has published widely in theology and biblical scholarship, including such works as Jesus and the Eyewitnesses: The Gospels as Eyewitness Testimony (2006), God Crucified: Monotheism and Christology in the New Testament (1998), The Theology of the Book of Revelation (1993) and Bible and Ecology (2010).

 

 Andrea White is an Associate Professor of Theology and Culture Union Theological Seminary in New York, where she works in constructive Christian theology. And in particular, she is interested in how the concerns of womanist and postmodern thought intersect with theologies of otherness, the doctrine of God, theological anthropology, and many other areas. She’s published or edited a number of volumes, including her first monograph The Back of God: A Theology of Otherness in Karl Barth and Paul Ricoeur and her current forthcoming book, The Scandal of Flesh: Black Women’s Bodies and God Politics. She’s delivered a wide range of prominent lectures, given keynote addresses for a number of societies, and is an ordained American Baptist minister.

 

Interview: Amy Peeler | Women Biblical Scholars

Amy Peeler is an Associate Professor of New Testament at Wheaton College, former Research Fellow with the Logos Institute, and Associate Rector at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Geneva, IL. Her primary research centers in the Epistle to the Hebrews, which has prompted her to explore ancient rhetoric, the use of the Old Testament in the New, Israel’s sacrificial system, atonement, family & inheritance in the Ancient World, and theological language.
